Turning ten is two handfuls! It is a special birthday because at that age, large chunks of identity are added at lightning pace. Dealing with the fact that it is impossible to be big and small at the same time may well be what children encounter most frequently as they grow up. A perfect reason, in other words, for saying goodbye to the one-digit years with your loved ones and for embracing the two digits (and the many good things that come with them).
