What would it be like to honour those around you, while still alive?

A funeral or farewell ritual can be both upsetting as disarming. Since it is often the moment when the most beautiful things are said about a person, it creates a sanctuary where people can say what they have always wanted to or share what no one remembers but makes the deceased immortal for them. Some individuals dream about their own funeral, others would secretly like to know what will be said or ramble on about what they would want to say to someone while still alive.

Experiencing your own funeral is a liberating ritual both for yourself and the attendees. It brings individuals close to the core of their relationship (friendship) with the departed.
