I LISTEN
Interactive performance

I Listen is an interactive urban performance about consolation and resistance. 'Consolation' in the sense of a universal need to look for new insights from the perspective of human finiteness; alongside creative ‘resistance' to embittering social frameworks by means of novel types of self-organisation, participatory forums or overt activism.

The project was developed as part of a 2015 research residency at Vrijstaat O (Ostend), and again in Essen (Germany) in March 2020 during the lockdown.
